Kings Lynn Town Hall project
The Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk had a Heritage Lottery funded project to redevelop the historic Town Hall.
The redevelopment included a new state-of-the-art exhibition (also called Stories of Lynn) in the under croft of its 15th Century guildhall, a branch Archive Centre of the Norfolk Records Office, a refreshed exhibition in the Georgian gaol house, and a range of Georgian and Victorian period interiors throughout the first floor. We were asked to undertake the conservation requirements on a large and diverse group of collections totalling over 600 objects, ranging from civic silver to a medieval oak window sill, for display in Easter 2016.
